So a bit more of a spiel shall be had. Today we’ve just got the latest chapter of Karate for you guys. This whole tournament arc is pretty sweet huh, lots of fighting, not a lot of blabbering. Of course, it’s also pretty painful on the redraws :(

Anyway, thanks to those who applied after our cry for help on Shibatora last week. We’ve got one cleaner so far, but we could use another. We could also use a typesetter if anyone knows their stuff. We really want to get through this series, especially now that the translator has a bit more time so we could potentially do weekly releases of the series if we had the staff. So just a thought for you Shiba fans, we have the window to release things faster, so join the staff to help out. Of course, that goes for fans of any of our series, not just Shibatora.

Got some more Karate and Shibatora for you this week.
Just bringing this to attention for the Shibatora fans. We currently do not have a cleaner for this series. Our cleaners for other series (aka Karate) are already few in number and overburdened. So basically, if you want this series to continue on a regular basis, we need a new cleaner for the series to keep up.

So just a call out to anyone who can clean out there. It’s not a difficult series. No rotating, no cropping, levelling simple. Just some double pages and some generally medium difficulty redraws. So if you can help us out, please apply on our forums.

Welcome to 2012, where the world may end… or it may not. Either way, we’re still going to be trundling along like usual, trying to get out scanslations for you guys.
To start the year off (or finish off 2011, depends where you are), we’ve got chapter 206 of Rookies. I think 2012 should be a good year for Rookies, I mean, we’ve only got 3 volumes remaining, so hopefully it should not be too difficult to get the manga finished, let’s hope it’s not anyway!
In other news. There’s no Karate this week. The cleaner for this chapter had computer troubles, so another cleaner had to pick up the slack. I’m gonna yell it out again, hopefully we get more help in 2012. We REALLY need more HQ cleaners for Karate. Currently we’ve got one guy who’s getting stuff done. I know all you guys out there love Karate, and so do we. We honestly want to get it out faster to you guys, we want to catch up to where Japan is (Even if that’s light years ahead at this stage), but we can’t get it done with 1 or 2 cleaners. So if you’re good at this stuff, or maybe you know someone else who is, point them in our direction. We’d really love the help.
